MCA Chicago: "Culture Catalysts"

February 14, 2012
Laura Letinsky

From doodling at "Doodleganza: The Drawing Extravaganza," to chatting it up with "Culture Catalysts," to crossing wires between art and technology with "Internet Superheroes: Art and Tech," and jamming to "Face the Strange: New Music from Chicago and Beyond," the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago is activating audiences with engaging activities at Tuesday Evenings in the Café. Appropriate for a broad range of ages, these events are designed around familiar themes which introduce the audience to artists and other thought leaders and the ideas which inspire them in an entertaining and informal setting. The events take place on Tuesdays from October 4, 2011 to April 24, 2012, and begin at 6 pm. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase. The MCA is free to Illinois residents on Tuesdays and open until 8 pm.
